Light earthquake hits near Rampart, Alaska

RAMPART, ALASKA (BNO NEWS) — A light earthquake hit near Rampart, Alaska on Monday afternoon, seismologists said. There were no reports of damage or casualties.

The 3.9-magnitude earthquake at 2.12 p.m. local time was centered about 30 miles north of Rampart, a census-designated place with a population of 45. It struck about 12 miles deep.

There were no reports of damage or casualties.
