Oct. 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The assassination saga of President John F. Kennedy that was executed by Lee Harvey Oswald would be brought to light on the screen once more but the angle of narration prefers to be a little different. History Channels’ “JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America” picks up a different chain of thought all together. It helps highlight a lot of poignant facts that had somehow got buried under the heap of the events that had taken place in fast forward motion, immediately after the death of JFK. The story continues beyond the assassination as well as Oswald’s death, leading to almost 3 decades after the incident.
The sole aim of the two part documentary had been to provide a deeper insight in to the matters that had led to the incident itself as well as the events that had come in to existence afterward. The documentary features quite a bit of rare clips and photographs that had never been projected on screen.
The first part of “JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America” was aired on Sunday night (Oct. 11) at 9 p.m. and will be beamed on the screen once more on Monday, Oct. 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The four hour long screen venture presents such a gripping account of one of the most tragic events in the history of America, that it leads the viewers to almost believe that they are getting to know the incident so well for almost the first time.
Consisting of personally recorded home movies, dispatches from the Dallas police, the television interviews as well as some gripping and raw news clips. The work of Nicole Rittenmeyer and Seth Skundrick has transpired in to a material that has reached a level never been aimed before and it certainly leaves the viewers thinking.
