Lauryn Hill is on the comeback trail
December 21st, 2010 - 8:35 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Dec 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lauryn Hill has launched her comeback. The singer has been out of the public’s eye for a long time and she plans to be back with a series of concerts.
Lauryn Hill is set to perform at the East Coast from 19th day of December until March next year. The series of concerts will begin from South Burlington with the last performance expected at Miami in March.
The tickets for the show went on sale on Friday. The singer indicated her comeback last summer. She announced to NPR that she wanted to sing more. During the interview, Hill declared that she wants to get back strongly with her career. She admitted that because it has been that long since she sang, she believes that when she begins to come out with songs again, more people will start to take interest in her again.
During the interview, Lauryn Hill said that, “I don’t think people have really heard me sing out. So if I do record again, perhaps it will have an expanded context. Where people can hear a bit more.”
Tickets for the Atlantic City concert will be sold from this Saturday.
