New York, Dec 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest celebrity who has died is Nelson Mandela, according to the rumormongers. The legendary political leader who is the supreme anti-apartheid activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela has reportedly died, according to the rumormongers.
Apparently US President George W. Bush, made this comment during a press conference in Washington, according to Reuters.
The apartheid leader Nelson Mandela was jailed for 27 years. He was jailed for fighting white minority rule, and in doing so Mandela became South Africa’s first black president in 1994. He won a Nobel Peace Prize for preaching racial harmony and guiding the nation peacefully into the post-apartheid era.
Mandela is now a celebrated elder statesman who continues to voice his opinion and his stand on topical issues related to the development of South Africa. He has received more than 250 awards over four decades, most notably the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize. In November 2009, the United Nations General Assembly announced that Mandela’s birthday, 18 July, is to be known as ‘Mandela Day’ marking his contribution to world freedom.

Firstly, he is not dead.
Secondly, he was not an apartheid leader, he was against apartheid.
Thirdly, he wasnt fighting for white minority rule, he was fighting against white majority rule. He wanted equality.
