hula-hoop ban Las Vegas, Aug 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The authorities in Sin City - Las Vegas are thinking about a ban on the humble hula-hoop. Even though it is a mere plaything, yet the city officials are serious about the ban. And the reason for that is that the officials say that is an impendent to the traffic and also causes a number of hassles on the road, when used by the public.

Councilman Stavros Anthony, who is an integral part of the team that reviewed the bill said that they would vote on the bill on the 18th of the August. He said that, “Apparently there are Hula-Hoop people. These aren’t little Hula-Hoops. They’re big Hula-Hoops.” He was specifically against the whole ‘Hula-Hoop experience’ known by the Fremont Street experience on the 5-block pedestrian mall.

The hula-hoop ban is actually a part of an ordinance, which would also cause other restrictions as well. The ordinance would place ample restrictions on various activities on the plaza. As part of the activities on the plaza, there is a light show on the largest LED screen in the world. And the mall has various neighboring casinos, which are also host to a number of activities, which cause disruption on the roads as well.
