las vegas fireworksAmongst the few cities in the world that are always in celebration mode, the numero uno position will be occupied by Las Vegas and when it comes to the celebrating the Independence day, then one can only estimate the quantum of fun and entertainment that the city could offer. Like all major American cities, this entertainment capital also showcased a splendid display of fireworks on July 4.

The primary attraction was the “Station’s 4th of July Blast” which is a brilliant fireworks show. It has been an extensive firework splendor that was visible from Fiesta Henderson in the east to Aliante station in the north including the areas that lay between the two places thus covering large places in the Southern Nevada. There was also a firework show at Henderson specially as it is the center of all the fun-activities during this weekend.

Since Las Vegas is the place to spend the money lavishly, many celebrities have flocked to the city to enjoy. Among them the major ones are Lance Briggs, a few NFL players, Matt Demon, Sarah Silverman, Nelly, Ben Affleck, Charles Barkley, Jason Alexander, Herschel Walker, Montel Williams, Brad Garrett, Dean Cain and Kenny Smith. As expected they had a great time, including taking part in poker tournaments.

Henderson on the other hand, was not only drawing people for its fireworks but a lot of day-activities kept the people engaged as well. While children were found splashing in the water or dressed in colorful garment just strolling around, teens engaged themselves in activities like hanging out in the beach with friends as well.

With such a big city offering so many opportunities for fun, people who flocked to Las Vegas had great entertainment no doubt.

There were absolutely no 2009 fireworks on the Las Vegas strip this year! What gives?
