Kenneth Biros executed in the Southern Ohio facility

Lucasville, Dec 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Convicted Trumbull County murderer Kenneth Biros apologized prior to his execution. He also thanked his family and friends in a benevolent spirit for their support and prayers. And then he was executed at 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility.
He was executed with a one-drug intravenous lethal injection, a new method that has never before used on any human being till now.
Kenneth Biros had murdered the 22-year-old Tami Engstrom in 1991 and even while dying he did not have the guts to look at the family members of the woman whom he murdered in 1991 as he lay dying on in the execution chamber.
“I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” he said shortly before the lethal injection was administered. He added, “I get to spend the holidays with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Peace to you all. Amen.”
The execution process took about 45 minutes, in which the prison staff took about 30 minutes to establish one intravenous shunt.
