Ken and Barbie’s fate put to Facebook vote

The iconic dolls were together for a very long time before they eventually went separate ways on the Valentine’s Day of 2004. We are now approaching another Valentine’s Day and the manufacturer, Mattel, is wondering whether the two should be brought together again.
Ken was cool with Barbie until the Australian surfer doll, Blaine came along. Blaine ended the couple’s 43 years stay together. With Blaine now out of the way, Ken believes that he can have Barbie back for himself. Well according to Mattel, winning Barbie back seems to be the only thing that Ken has been interested in.
On the Facebook page of the two dolls Mattel wrote that, “Having explored the singles scene after his starring role in Toy Story 3, Ken now knows Barbie is the only doll for him.”
Ken has launched a campaign to have Barbie back. However before he can do that, he needs users on Facebook to agree to the comeback. He has launched a campaign for that and in one of the many catchy phrases, Ken tell Barbie that, “Barbie, We May Be Plastic But Our Love is Real.”
Voters can vote for Ken and Barbie to get back together on the website barbieandken.com.
