Kate and WIlliam to Wed at Westminster Abbey in April

Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Prince William and Kate Middleton have finally announced the date of their wedding, on Friday April 29, which has now been announced as a bank holiday. The much anticipated royal wedding will occur at Westminster Abbey, where generations of royalty have been crowned, married, mourned and buried, according to the ‘Associated Press’.
Although there wee suggestions that the state of the economy would cause the wedding to be less elaborate than the typical royal weddings of Britain, William and Kate have rejected that idea, and will likely have a very luxurious fairytale wedding.
Prince William’s private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton released a statement; “We know that the world will be watching on the 29th of April, and the couple are very, very keen indeed that the spectacle should be a classic example of what Britain does best.”
