Sep 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bethlehem, Pennsylvania based Just Born which is a famous candy manufacturer has come up with unique pumpkin-shaped marshmallow Peeps with chocolate coating meant for sale in Halloween. The newly invented “Peeps Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Pumpkins” are yummy and they have orange marshmallow inside while the outer coating is made of either dark chocolate or milk. The candymaker has been inspired by the success of the Easter peeps that were also sold with chocolate coating earlier this year. The new Halloween candies will be sold from nearly all major outlets. This is definitely a great news for the foodies out there.

Aubrecia Cooper the assistant brand manager of the company said in a statement that the research has indicated that the customers have a liking for Peeps mixed with chocolate. The Halloween lineup of the company also includes Peeps with cat shapes. Other than that peeps shaped as ghosts will also be sold. As a matter of fact the marshmallow Peeps made by the company are in demand mostly during the Easter. However, the company now wants to boost its Halloween sales. Since the customers have become picky about Halloween shopping after the recession the Halloween candy market has also become fiercely competitive. The new endeavor of the Just Born company is one such example.

Just Born manufactures a number of other candies throughout the year. The new initiative taken by the company is unique and it is likely to make the buyers interested. The price of the candy has been kept reasonable since the festive season is ahead.
