The Craiglist Killer reportedly used plastic handcuffs on the all the three women he has attacked over the week, including an attack that left Manhattan model Julissa Brisman dead in a hotel room at the Marriott Copley hotel.

A source from the Rhode Island law enforcement revealed that the handcuffs form important evidence in linking the attacks inboth Boston and Rhode Island. The source said, “It’s a common link” and added that the detectives are getting information of all the lot numbers of plastic cuffs sold over the recent past. The boxes selling these plastic handcuffs come in boxes with lot numbers that the police are trying to locate.

The body of Julissa Brisman, a model and aspiring actress who advertised her sensual massage services on craigslist was found in the posh hotel room on Tuesday. The bullet-riddled body had handcuff marks on the wrists. According to police reports Brisman, 26, struggled with the man who attacked her when he tried to handcuff her, and this probably led to the shooting. Boston police sources revealed that over 150 tips have come in after surveillance camera photos of the alleged attacker/killer were released to the press.

The suspect is a white man with blond hair and stands at a height of at least 6 feet. He was seen in the surveillance cameras as cally waking out of the Marriott Copley Place lobby on the night when Brisman was shot. The same man is believed to have handcuffed and robbed at gunpoint a 29-year old prostitute at Boston’s Westin Copley Place hotel on the night of April 10.
