A model from New York who also worked as an internet masseuse was shot dead at a glitzy hotel in Boston and police think the person who shot her may be a serial killer.

Julissa Brisman, 26, was shot at the posh Marriott Copley Place by a man who micht have answered her ad on craigslist. The murder was discovered when other guests in the hotel heard screams from her room on the 20th floor of the hotel. According to the police she was found in a pool of blood with several bullet wounds and a plastic “restraint” on her wrist. A massage table was also set up inside the room. On being taken to a hospital Brisman was pronounced dead.

Hotel surveillance cameras have retrieved images of a young clean cut man with blond hair whom the police have described as the suspect. According to reports, he may be the same man who robbed a prostitute in a nearby hotel a few days ago. It is unclear whether Brisman was a prostitute or a masseuse as she claimed. Bostom police spokesperson Elaine Driscoll said, “What we know is that Miss Brisman was advertising masseuse services on craigslist.” But photographer Mark Pines, who claims to know Brisman for six years said she was offering “straight massage, that’s all. It was all legit.” He also said it is not likely that she died resisting a thief because “She wouldn’t have resisted robbing her. It wasn’t in her nature. She would have just given up the money.”
