vanJuly 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that Joran van der Sloot is hardly bothered about the indictments and the charges of suspected murder that has been brought against him by the U.S. prosecutors. The 22-year-old suspected murderer of Stephany Flores Ramirez who is also the prime suspect of Natalee Holloway disappearance case is in a mood to make as much money as he can even while he is in prison.

A day after the U.S. Federal grand jury announced an official indictment of Joran van der Sloot in a case in which the alleged murdered reportedly tried to sell information about the whereabouts of Natalee Holloway to her grieving mother, a source revealed that sitting inside the remote Castor prison Joran van der Sloot had attempted to sell an exclusive on-camera interview of himself to any television channel that is ready to pay him a whooping amount of $1 million. The source however has mentioned that no deal has been finalized as of yet between Joran van der Sloot and the channel.

The news has however baffled prison officials and FBI agents. A former FBI agent Grad Garrett has told to a media source that the selling of the interview could be dangerous. He has maintained that though Joran van der Sloot is in prison the selling of the exclusive interview for such a high amount will provide him with power. He can exercise the power of money to buy things and manipulate other prisoners to get him whatever he wants in the prison. Joran van der Sloot according to the police has given a full confession of the crime but has been since then trying to negate the confession and claim his innocence in the cases in which he is suspected to be involved in.
