Joran Van Der Sloot confession adds a murkier twist in the Natalee Holloway murder case

Birmingham, Feb 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joran Van Der Sloot confessed in a television interview that he had dumped Natalee’s body in a marsh. Joran van der Sloot made the confession while giving an interview to a television journalist. However his claims have been met by disbelief. The Aruba Prosecutor Peter Blanken said that Joran Van Der Sloot’s candid confession in the interview to the Dutch station RTL-5 is simply unbelievable.
The investigators say that all the details are not adding up. Because prior to this confession, he had said that he was incapable of hurting Natalee. He had also said that she had died after a seizure, and then he had just dumped her body. Editor in Chief, “Aruba Today”, Julia Renfro said, “Just because we’ve heard so many different stories, we don’t really know what’s gone on in this kid’s head.“
Renfro said, “What I do know is what he did say on the tape, that he was “innocent of harming Natalee. He gave specific details of where they were and those locations were investigated, even though it was four years later, investigated, the details he gave, as the authorities call it were fantasy.“
It may be recalled that Natalee Holloway belonged to Mountain Brook, Ala. She was just 18, when she was murdered. Her last sighting was, when she was seen leaving a bar in Aruba, on her high school graduation trip in May 2005. Her dead body hasn’t been recovered as yet.
