Joran van der Sloot confesses to disposing Natalee Holloway’s body in a marsh

Joran van der Sloot Amsterdam, Feb 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Dutch suspect in the Natalee Holloway murder case has confessed to disposing her body in the Caribbean island of Aruba, according to a report by the BNO News. The suspect Joran van der Sloot made the confession while giving an interview to a television journalist. His candid confession has also been recorded on a RTL television camera.

He said that he disposed the body of the American student Natalee Holloway in a marsh, on the Caribbean island of Aruba. However, the chief prosecutor of Aruba - Peter Blanken wasn’t convinced by the details of the confession, and he said to NBC News that Joran van der Sloot’s story was “very unbelievable.” However after Joran’s confession, the police authorities have reopened the investigation, to look for Natalee’s body. However they aren’t very hopeful of her body being recovered from the marsh. “If she was left there, the chances of finding her are extremely small,” the chief prosecutor of Aruba - Peter Blanken said. “After several days, nothing would have been found except bones and maybe a plastic shoe.”

Natalee Holloway belongs to Mountain Brook, Ala. She was just 18, when she was murdered. Her last sighting was, when she was seen leaving a bar in Aruba, on her high school graduation trip in May 2005. Her dead body hasn’t been recovered as yet.
