Johnny Logan Spencer: Kentucky man indicted for threatening President Obama
March 18th, 2010 - 3:21 am ICT by BNO NewsLOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY (BNO NEWS) – A Kentucky man was indicted for threatening President Obama, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Johnny Logan Spencer, age 27, of Louisville, Kentucky allegedly made a threat to kill the President of the United States, posting it on a website in the form of a poem he wrote called “The Sniper.” The website, NewSaxon.org, professes to be “An Online Community by and for White Americans.”
Logan is facing a maximum prison term of five years, a $250,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of up to 3 years, if convicted. He is to appear in court on March 19, 2009.
