John WheelerJan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Cops in Delaware are probing the murder of a political veteran who was a close aide of former US president George Bush. 66 year old John P. Wheeler III’s dead body was traced at a landfill in Delaware and the cops strongly suspect it to be a case of homicide. The body was discovered on Friday. Reports indicate that the body was dumped at the place from a truck that came from Newark. What has seemed surprising to the cops investigating the case is that no pone reported him to be missing until his dead body was seen. A media entity later said that he was seen taking an Amtrak train to Wilmington last Tuesday.

The friends and aides of John P. Wheeler III have been shocked by his death. The US political veterans who worked with him during the tenure of George W. Bush, former US president have said he was a “patriot to the first order”. He had also worked in the Reagan administration and was a Vietnam veteran. It is being assumed that he actually could not make it to the Amtrak train and the assassin murdered him before that. The cops have been tight lipped about the exact cause of his death even after autopsy was performed.

James Fallows a journalist and friend of deceased politician John P. Wheeler III remembered his buddy as an outspoken and passionate man. He said that the last message that he had got from his friend was rather uncharacteristic of him. He had got a Christmas wish from him which was brief and seemed out of tune.
