Jan 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reports are abuzz that former presidential candidate John Edwards is engaged to his mistress, Rielle Hunter. A tabloid created quite a stir with its report claiming that the ex-senator has popped the question to his long-time mistress. John Edwards is also likely to make an official announcement about his engagement to his mistress in the near future, according to reports. Their illicit relation became public few years ago when John Edwards admitted that he had an affair with Rielle Hunter and later confirmed that he had also fathered her daughter.

Rumors about John Edwards getting engaged to Rielle Hunter is the latest subject of speculation that has spread like wildfire all over the web. The speculations are ripe about whether John Edwards-Rielle Hunter wedding is actually taking place with one of the reports claiming that the pair is set to tie the knot in summer. John Edwards’ estranged wife Elizabeth Edwards passed away last month after battling with cancer for years. In her will, which was released recently, she left all her property to her children without making any mention of her husband.

During his presidential campaign few years ago, John Edwards, 56 has hogged the limelight after reports emerged saying that he was having an extra-marital affair with campaign worker Rielle Hunter. Although initially the Democratic candidate refuted the reports, later he admitted there was an affair brewing between him and Rielle Hunter. Meanwhile, despite reports of their engagement, any official confirmation in this regard has not been forthcoming as yet.
