John Albert Gardner Arrested In Connection With Missing Teenager

San Diego, Mar 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) John Albert Gardner, was taken into custody by San Diego police authorities after evidences emerged which linked him with the disappearance of a teenager, who has been missing since last Thursday. The man, who is known to be a registered sex offender was arrested from Escondido in California on Sunday.
In a press conference that was held on Sunday evening, San Diego County Sheriff William Gore revealed that 30 year old John Albert Gardner was detained by the police authorities outside a restaurant in Escondido. Although the San Diego County sheriff refused to divulge intrinsic details about the case, it was stated that the authorities arrested the Lake Elsinore man on the basis of certain physical evidences that linked him with the disappearance of the 17 year old Chelsea King. At the same time, it has been mentioned that specific charges against John Albert Gardner has not been filed as yet. It has also been emphasized that the San Diego police as well as other agencies are continuing the extensive investigation to know the whereabouts of the missing teenager.
Meanwhile, San Diego County sheriff also added that evidences have surfaced that link John Albert Gardner to another case of assault on a woman that took place in the month of December last year in the same area from where the teenager disappeared.
Chelsea King went missing on Thursday from an after-school run and when she failed to return home her parents intimated the police authorities. Since then extensive search has been undertaken to know to whereabouts of the missing girl.
