‘Joe the plumber’ elected as an official in Ohio

Joe The Plumber Ohio, May 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘Joe the Plumber’ has been elected as one of the officials of the Republican Party committee in Ohio’s Lucas County. ‘Joe the Plumber’ is the person who shot himself to fame during the American elections last two years ago, when he had questioned the presidential candidates on their economic policies. And now since he is an elected official so he is bound to feel the pressure associated with holding a public office.

His real name is Samuel Wurzelbacher, and he has managed to win one of the nearly 400 seats on the Republican Party committee in Ohio’s Lucas County. He managed to win the seat by 38-24 votes on Tuesday in the Toledo precinct.

He became famous almost two years ago, and after that Samuel Wurzelbacher has also written a book about the experience and has also spoken at a number of conservative gatherings. Samuel Wurzelbacher shot to fame when then Republican presidential candidate John McCain repeatedly cited him as “Joe the plumber” in a debate. Mr. Wulzelbacher had previously questioned the Democratic Presidential Candidate and the current President of the United States Barack Obama on their economic policies. The debate was also aired live and millions of people watched the debate, and since then Samuel earned the tag of ‘Joe The Plumber’.
