Jimmy McMillan Inspires ‘Rent is Too Damn High’ Doll

How about the new action hero created by ‘Hero Builders’, the Oxford, Connecticut based toy company which also released the ‘Sarah Palin School Girl’ doll and the ‘Christine O’Donnel Witch’ doll?
Inspired by the candidate for the single issue New York ‘Rent is Too Damn High’ political party, Jimmy McMillan, the action figure went on sale Monday. It cost a mere $39.95 for the doll, and $45.95 if you want the talking version, which gives McMillan’s catch phrase, “The rent is too damn high.” He made those words popular as he said them during a stand-off with the republican and Democratic candidates, making himself a one man, one theme political sensation with a single debate.
According to Emil Vitale, the owner of Herobuilders.com, he has already sold a few hundred of the dolls, and expects to sell many more. Barack and Michelle Obama dolls are also available, s are ‘Jersey Shore’ inspired figures.
