Sep 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jessica Marotta’s boyfriend Joseph Cerniglia committed suicide by jumping off George Washington Bridge last week. Joseph Cerniglia who appeared on Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares” is linked was said to be having an affair with Jessica Marotta, a pastry chef despite being married. His appearance on the show reportedly helped his restaurant to get back on its feet and brought him out of debt. The reason for his suicide is not clear though fingers are being pointed at his personal life for being the cause for his death. Jessica’s mother is said to have confirmed that the duo were having an affair and she also added that they made no attempts to hide it, infact it was very much obvious.

Joseph Cerniglia is said to have parted from his wife for a long time but there are a few who claim that it was the affair that ruined his marriage. The news of his death claimed attentional attention as he is the second person to have committed suicide after having appeared on Gordon Ramsay’s topic. The first was Rachel Brown, another chef who had committed suicide three years earlier. Gary Polina, who happens to be the owner of a jewelry store near the restaurant reported that the duo appeared to be romantically involved as they appeared to be very close and would stay behind to clean up after everyone left.

Jessica Marotta have not been available for comment. Though Jessica Marotta’s mother said that her daughter is devastated by his death but no comment has been made by Jessica Marotta herself yet.
