London, Feb 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) British design house Jenny Packman will launch a new outlet at Debenhams. The store will sell collections with cut prices. The shop is expected to be launched in April.

Daily Mail reports that the shop will be selling the collection called ‘No.1 Jenny Packham’ from £85 to £160. The collection is made up of women and children clothing designed exclusively for the departmental store. The accessories at the store will also be sold between £18 and £100.

There will be 19 dresses for sale when the shop launches. The dresses will be launched in phases. The first phase will see eight dresses going to sale in April. The remaining dresses will then be brought to the shop in subsequent weeks.

Packman explained that, “As a young girl I was regularly abandoned in Debenhams Southampton whilst my parents disappeared to search for the latest Teasmade or some other ‘must have’ electrical appliance. During this time I lost myself in the rails of 70’s polyester and dreamt of a life in fashion.”

For a start, the collection will cover about 8,300sq ft at the departmental store. The space is expected to increase later.

Packman came up with her first collection in 1988. She currently has stores in London and Paris.
