According to the sources, former WWE Superstar, Jeff Hardy, the brother of the WWE wrestler Matt Hardy, has reportedly been arrested in North Carolina for allegedly possessing banned drugs.

Wrestlingobserver.com has reported that the former WWE Superstar, who is quite popular among the fans was arrested when a group of officers raided his residence to seize the banned drugs possessed by the wrestler. Inside sources reveal that during a search at Jeff’s house in Moore County (N.C.), the officers in charge stated that they seized about 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of Anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and certain items of the banned drug paraphernalia.

The charges again Jeff Hardy comes soon after the wrestler lost a match to CN Punk, which worked as a storyline reason for him to leave WWE and go for a Reality TV show. According to the inside sources, the wrestler could be charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Scheduled III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance. Hardy can also be charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of the banned drug paraphernalia.

Jeff Hardy rose to fame when he and his brother Matt formed the tag team group named “The Hardy Boys”. After serving the WWE industry for over a decade, Jeff was seen to be ousted from WWE two weeks ago after his loss to the wrestler CM Punk.

Hardy is currently being held on $125,000 bond at the Moore County Detention Center.
