Mar 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The home video of kidnap victim Jaycee Dugard is scheduled to be aired on ABC today. Anticipation regarding the video is running extremely high as this is the first time that audiences would get the opportunity to witness the life of Jaycee Dugard and her family, after she was held captive for 18 years before her release was secured last August.

ABC network has revealed that excepts from the family video of the kidnap victim would be aired during “Good Morning America”, “Nightline” and “20/20″. It has also been stated that in the video footage, Jaycee Dugard, now 29, would be ‘introducing herself to the world’ and her mother would also be seen breaking her silence for the first time to appeal to people so that the privacy of the Dugard family is respected. In a teaser that was aired on Thursday, the Dugard family is seen spending time together by riding horses as well as cooking. At the same time, ABC network has revealed that the family video of Jaycee Dugard also includes footage of her first Christmas with her family since she was rescued by authorities about six months ago.

Since the kidnap victim has resurfaced, she has been residing with her mother Terry Probyn and her two daughters fathered by her kidnapper Phillip Garrido in an unknown location in Northern California. Jaycee Dugard was abducted when she was only 11 years old from outside her South California home and was sexually abused for several years. Meanwhile, Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy Garrido are awaiting trial with multiple charges levied against them in the case.
