Jamel Turner Continues To Fight With Death

Columbus, June 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A day after Jamel Turner suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a Youngstown house, his condition remains critical according to the police.
Though it is not known for sure where the Ohio State football player is being treated, but the police on Sunday said that the player is still battling for his life. No further information like where the player had received the gunshot wounds and what are the chances of his survival was made available to media sources.
On Saturday night a statement was released by the coach of the Ohio State football team who mentioned that he is praying for the speedy recovery of Jamel Turner.
On Sunday the Police said to media sources that they have a suspect in the case. However, it has as of yet made no arrest in this regard. The police did not disclose the identity of the person being suspected and also declined to divulge any additional information to media sources in the case.
The case is under investigation.
However, some media sources claim that it is not for the first time that Jamel Turner had suffered a gun attack. In April the player reportedly suffered gunshot wounds in his right hip and left ankle when he was attacked by an unknown group of people.
The latest incident occurred on early Saturday when Jamel Turner and a 17-year-old girl named Tracy Banks were attacked in a Youngstown house. While Jamel turner suffered life threatening gunshot wounds, Tracy Banks died of the gunshots.
However a 4-year-old girl who was present in the house at the time of the attack was found unharmed.
