July 17 (IBNS)- Ivanka Trump has finally made it official that she is now engaged to longtime beau Jared Kushner, the publisher of the New York Observer.

Twenty-seven years old Trump posted the news of her engagement on Twitter Thursday.

“I got engaged last night…truly the happiest day of my life!!!” she wrote.

Friends of the couple said they make a wonderful pair and that their engagement rings are ‘stunning’.

Trump and Kushner have been dating each other since 2007. They broke up for a short span of time, but got back together again July 2008.

Trump, a vice president at the Trump Organization, converted to Judaism for Kushner.

Trump told New York magazine that she was glad to be with someone who understands her lifestyle.

She said Kushner is very similar to her. Both of them are very ambitious and hence they don’t have to try hard to adjust with each other.

Trump further said she is looking forward for her marriage, although she’s not sure if that’s going to take place sooner or later.

Commenting on Kushner, she said their relationship is a ‘magnificent’ one.

However, Kushner was not available to react to their engagement. But Kushner’s friends said he is very happy about the union.
