Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi hit by an assailant at a rally

Milan, Dec 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was hit on the face, which bloodied his nose and face, at a rally in Milan. He was also knocked to the ground after the attack. According to the latest reports, the attacker had used an object too, to hit him square in the face. He has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The pictures showed that the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s lip was cut very badly and there was blood all over the lower half of his face. The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi looked quite dazed, after the attack. A man has been arrested in relation to this assault.
The attack on the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi happened when he was greeting his supporters in Milan.
According to Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, a small group of protesters were shouting slogans and whistling during the rally.
During the gathering he told supporters: “They paint me as a monster, but I don’t think I am one - firstly because I am good-looking and secondly because I’m a decent chap”.
