Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi to stand trial for paying underage ‘Ruby the Heartbreaker’ for sex
February 17th, 2011 - 12:36 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattRome, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is now all set to stand trial for paying an underage girl – ‘Ruby the Heartbreaker’ for sex. The politician is 74 years old and he is in a soup because he had paid sex with a girl who was just 17 years of age, at the time of the incident.
Reports also suggest that he abused his status and power as the Italian Prime Minister by telephoning the police officers to release her after they had arrested her on suspicion of theft.
On the other hand, the Moroccan belly dancer, who was 17 at the time of the incident insists that she didn’t have sex with Silvio at all. However she does add that she was paid a whooping 5,500 pounds just to attend a party at the billionaire PM’s house.
And on the other hand, Silvio also insists that he didn’t have sex with her and instead this is a conspiracy hatched by his political opponents to oust him from power.
The trial is all set to start from the 6th of April in Milan. The case is going to be deliberated by 3 women judges - Carmen D’Elia, Orsolina De Cristofaro and Giulia Turri.
