Italian court says that Amanda Knox didn’t plan Meredith’s murder

Amanda Knox Perugia, Mar 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Italian court officials revealed that the murder of Meredith Kercher, by Amanda Knox wasn’t premeditated. They say that it wasn’t planned and also wasn’t a result of the womanly jealously and hatred, but rather it was a result of sexual violence.

“It is crime without any planning, without any animosity towards the victim,” the judges Giancarlo Massei and Beatrice Cristiani wrote in the case history of this infamous murder trial, that has caught the world in frenzy. They said that the motive for Meredith’s killing was a “crescendo … (of) erotic sexual violence.” The judges also said that the tragic murder was also due to the series of coincidences, that took place that eventful night.

It may be recalled that Amanda Knox was found guilty and given a 26-year sentence whereas her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito was sentenced to 25 years for the murder of Meredith Kercher. The family members of the victim Meredith Kercher are satisfied with the verdict, even though happiness is far from their faces as no matter what punishment Amanda gets, their loved one, Meredith is no more in this world. Prior to the infamous trial, Amanda Knox was a former University of Washington student who was studying abroad in Italy. Her life changed unexpectedly when she fatally stabbed her British roommate to death in retaliation during a drug-fueled sex game.
