Jerusalem, Jan 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 50-year-old Israeli man has been granted his 11th divorce and in doing so, he has set a new record of sorts. This is said to be a new Jewish Israeli record. The man said that he likes to get a new wife about every two years.

The previous record of the most divorces stood at six or seven divorces the Rabbinical Court Administration and Israeli media reported on Tuesday. The court did not disclose the name of the man. However he is already on the lookout for a new bride. He said that, “I throw out a hook and the fish come on their own”. Apart from getting a new wife every couple of years, he has also been reported as unemployed for many years. And after marrying the new bride, he lives with their families.

He also has one child, a son, from his first marriage and the boy’s mother reported the man never paid any child support to her. And the rabbis praised him for going through all the formalities and the proper procedures under Jewish law for obtaining a divorce. And this included issuing the women with a “Get”, which is a document that says “you are hereby permitted to all men”.
