New York, July 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chelsea Clinton’s upcoming wedding is being hailed as the biggest event of the summer and it will be held at the Astor Courts in the upstate New York village of Rhinebeck at the end of the month.
The former first daughter is a vegetarian and reports indicate there will be lots of vegetarian items on the menu. However there might also be some naturally fed meat on the menu.
In addition to her vegetarianism, Chelsea Clinton also reacts badly to gluten and will therefore have a vegetarian cake at the wedding. According to Life & Style magazine, a source said that, “Chelsea is a vegan. The food will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes, but there will also be grass-fed organic beef on the menu.”
Clinton’s wedding wont be the first celebrity one to serve vegetarian food. Recently Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi also served their wedding guests with vegetarian food.
The wedding will have enough vegetarian food to serve the 500 guests invited to the event. And there are reports that the cost of the just the food is reported to be $3 million. Analysts believe the vegetarian diet at Clinton and Mezvinsky’s wedding will cause lots of weddings to follow the trend.

this is insanity, why does the article state “Chelsea Clinton also reacts badly to gluten and will therefore have a vegetarian cake at the wedding” there is nothing about gluten that conflicts with vegetarianism! gluten is wheat protein and in fact is a staple food for vegetarians and vegans alike, it is used to create faux meat products.
As for Chelsea having “naturally fed meat” , this is not the mark of a vegan at all, unless her fiancee was the one who made that decision, a vegan by definition is someone who chooses to omit animal products from everything they make/purchase/consume.
