Iran tested advanced Nuclear Warhead
November 9th, 2009 - 9:26 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattTehran, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The U.N. nuclear watchdog has asked Iran to explain evidence suggesting that Iran’s nuclear scientists have experimented with an advanced nuclear warhead design, the Guardian reported in its Friday edition.
An International Atomic Energy Agency had compiled a report, which hinted that, ‘Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components of a “two-point implosion” device’. This particular report was not documented before and recently came into view.
The report said that even the mere presence of two-point implosion nuclear warhead technology is officially secret in both the nuclear nations of U.S. and UK. Through this particular technology, smaller and simpler warheads can be produced which will make it easier to put a warhead on a missile.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) did not release any official statement regarding this issue.
