iranFeb 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Thursday, Feb 11th, Iran celebrated its 31 Islamic Revolution by marching towards the Azadi Square in Tehran. On this occasion President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the thronging flag waving supporters by saying that Iranian Scientists have been able to purify Uranium to the level of 80%. This level is important as according to researches and nuclear scientists a little more purity of uranium will allow Iran to make nuclear bombs of its own. Experts are of the view that the Nation is making a quick progress and that it will reach the optimum level of 90% purity very soon. This development is feared by the neighboring Israel which has been threatened continuously of destruction by Iran.

The President Mahmoud Ahmadnejad proclaimed in front of the crowd that though it has reached a state where it can make nuclear weapon, still it has no such intention as of yet to turn the Nation into a nuclear weapon possessing state. The President on his part said that he has only good intentions behind making nuclear weapons. He also added that if it ever thinks of making nuclear weapons then it will not fear the West.

The Israel government has said that all options of war against Iran are open as the latter as of yet has kept all the doors of making nuclear weapon open. However, American State government feels that this Thursday’s speech by President Mahmoud Ahmadnejad is nothing more than mere politics and that he is playing with the crowd of Iran. The USA believes still that Iran does not have the capacity to produce such purified form of nuclear fuel.
