Iran Neda: Questions On Every MindJune 22nd, 2009 - 7:23 pm ICT by GD
The doctor tried to save the girl who was protesting on the streets of Iran along with her father, but in vain, she died within 2 minutes. The person who captured the video of the girl, who was shot right in her chest, posted it on Newsvine.com. Websites have tagged a warning message before viewing the video, as it is unnerving to watch such a scene. The 40 second video shows the girl, shot in the chest lying, on the ground with blood from the fatal wound flowing towards her face. Her father is found screaming helplessly and breaking down slowly on seeing his daughter’s head sinking in a pool of blood.
The doctor who had tried to revive Neda said,”I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim’s chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.”
Neda is already a sensation and most talked about topic on Twitter and Facebook, where the video was posted on Saturday. The user groups posted the video on YouTube so frequently that it became impossible for YouTube to remove the video from the site.
Blog comments reveal that bloggers are even trying to justify if the video is real or not. Some bloggers commented that she seemed to pour the blood on herself and the presence of blood near her feet before she fell down and her way of lowering her body to the ground after being shot appear fake. Bloggers have also been commenting extensively about existing Human Rights in Iran. They feel the human rights are useless as students get killed in the dormitory and the government takes no steps what so ever.
