Interpol steps up hunt for Saddam daughter - ‘Raghad Saddam Hussein al-Majid’

Washington DC, Apr 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Interpol has stepped up the hunt for Saddam Hussein’s daughter Raghad al-Majid, who is supposed to be hiding in Jordan. She is wanted as she used to fund many acts of terrorism, which were against the coalition forces. She was also instrumental in organizing the defense team for the father, when the US Army captured him in 2006.

Interpol says that, Raghad Saddam Hussein al-Majid was born in Baghdad on the 2 September 1968. They also reveal that she holds the citizenship of both Jordan and Iraq. She is also said to be fluent in Arabic as well as in English too. Her physical attributes are that she is 1.7 meters tall, and she has brown hair and hazel eyes. Interpol officials also say that anybody who has information about her whereabouts can contact the police or the General Secretariat of Interpol.

Besides this an orange security alert was also issued for the Iraqi dictator’s nephew – Ayman Sabawi. He is wanted because he was successful in escaping from a prison that was located near Mosul in Iraq. He was sentenced to prison time, as he had been found guilty of possessing illegal weapons, and also for making many explosive devices that were subsequently used in terrorism acts.
