Imam W. Deen Mohammed, the leader US Nation of Muslim dies at 74

The great Imam W. Deen Mohammed who is dubbed the great Islam teacher in America and a leader of Islam in the United States is dead.

Dean has been the reputed US Muslim leader and a source of inspiration to the Muslim community living in America.

Dean Mohamed deaths came as a shock to many. He was a reputed moderator and teacher of Islam. Dean was aged 74 years old.

Dean has been the U.S. Nation of Islam leader for decades after succeeding his father, Elijah Muhammad, as head of the Black Nationalist group. Dean was aged 74 and he died on Tuesday according to his family.

Mohammed took over the mantle of Chicago-based Nation of Islam in 1975 after the death of his father Elijah Mohamed, who was the founder of the black separatist organization in 1934. Dean was more orthodox in his approach to Islam. This orthodox approach led to a split with Louis Farrakhan, who now leads the group.

Mohammed died in a Chicago suburb though the cause of his death has not been disclosed. Mohamed is famous for standing up against racial oppression. He has tirelessly worked for peace, unity, and reconciliation. Dean Mohamed has sought after his father’s legacy of economic and political empowerment for the Muslim community.

He was once a leader of the famous American Society of Muslims.
