Illinois, Apr 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The DJs Karson and Kennedy announced on air, that Massachusetts had implemented a pet tax for all those people who keep pets. Other radio stations in Illinois also reported the same news that the authorities had implemented the tax, because they had to balance the budget due to the health care reforms.

The radio stations also reported that the President was forced to pass the legislation, which was led by Gary Richardson. He wanted that Massachusetts should become the very first state in the country to implement the pet tax. The state authorities expect that this pet tax will generate millions of dollars that would be used to offset the gap in the budget. They also said that the owners can register their pets online, and the tax on each pet would depend on the weight of the pet. This has worried the owners even more, because the owners who have big pets like St. Bernard would end up playing quite a packet, whereas those who keep little pets like fishes would be let off lightly.

The pet owners needn’t be worried, as later it was revealed that it was just an April Fool prank.
