Identical twins born in Florida in different decades

Florida, Jan 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) When Margarita Velasco went into labor on 31st December 2009, little did she knew that she would create history. She gave birth to identical twins and they are born a decade apart.
Elder Baby Marcello was delivered by Caesarian just minutes before midnight in 2009 and then his brother Stephano was born moments later in the next decade, in 2010. Their parents are also happy at this unexpected turn of events as they feel that it would be nice for the boys to have their own separate birthday parties. “We never think that we would be the first of the year, or the last of the year, nothing like that,” said Velasco. “But I’m really happy.” “So they’ll always be twins, but now they each have their own special day,” said Lynch.
The father said that he was relieved both babies were delivered safely after a high-risk pregnancy.
The twins are born 10 weeks premature, and so the twins are expected to remain in the hospital for two months.
