Idaho man accused of three bank robberies

BOISE, IDAHO (BNO NEWS) – An Idaho man was indicted last Tuesday for three counts for bank robbery, prosecutors said on Wednesday.

Russell Lee Brumbaugh, 46, was arrested after an investigation by the FBI and the Boise Police Department determined that Brumbaugh was responsible of the robbery of three Idaho banks.

The defendant allegedly robbed first the Mountain West Bank in Meridian on September 14, 2009. The Idaho Advantage Credit Union in Boise and the Payette River Community Credit Union in Horseshoe Bend were subsequently robbed on November 2, 2009 and February 3, 2010.
