London, Nov 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The police in Britain are investigating the case of a missing dog. This dog is no ordinary dog because the owners are ready to offer £2,500 cash reward for anyone who provides information leading to the return of the canine.

Liam Botham, the son of England cricket legend Ian Botham, says the dog was last seen walking with his estranged wife. Liam and his wife, Sarah-Jayne, are currently working on their divorce

Sarah has denied taking the dog although Liam says the last CCTV footage of the animal shows the creature following the 37-year-old to the back of the marital house.

Liam told newsmen on Thursday that, “‘Woody was on CCTV. The last I saw of him he was going around the back of the house with my ex-wife. She drove out. That’s the last time I saw Woody. All we want as a family, for the sake of Emma, is for Woody to be returned. Emma has had Woody since he was a puppy so there is a special bond, as every dog lover knows. They went everywhere together. My mum and dad are very hurt and angry this has happened on their property.”

Liam is currently living with another woman. He plans to marry the other woman once the divorce proceedings are finalized. The London police have acknowledged that the report has been made to them indicating that they have started investigation into the incident.
