Hundreds attend the moving sale of the Amityville Horror House

carrie1 New York, Aug 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hundreds of people attended the moving sale of the ‘Amityville Horror House’. It ought to be mentioned that the house gained prominence in ‘The Amityville House’, which was released in 1979.

The New York house has 5-bedrooms and it is located on the Dutch Colonial on Long Island. It was listed on the market in May and its asking price is said to be $1.5 million. The owner of the house – Brian Wilson held a moving sale on Saturday, which was attended by hundreds of people. The material, which was present on the sale, includes some furniture and some exercise equipment as well.

Brian is the third owner of the house since the Lutz family. It ought to be mentioned that the Lutz family had claimed that the house was haunted which in turn had led to a book and a film on the house as well.

In the moving sale, the owner of the house took the aid of security personnel to keep the crowds under check. At a time only 20 people were allowed to enter the house. Some critical regions of the house were out of bounds for the visitors as well. Most importantly the upper floors where the members of the DeFeo family were done to death, were open for the public to check out.
