I miss old Howie. There was never another quite like him. His mass murder was different than most other lone gunman mass murders. Most of the time, there’s only 1 place where the shooting occurs, but in Howie’s case there were several, and he took care of business rather routinely and methodically. The man was a killing machine - almost a robot with no feelings. Then, of course, he made his big mistake after retreating to his home, which was to surrender to the police. That cost him 60 years in the New Jersey mental institutions, which I don’t think he thought a lot about before he went on his killing spree. I think if he had, he’d have probably put a bullet in his own head. Probably the most amazing part of this most amazing father of the modern day lone gunman mass murderers is that he survived 60 years in those nut houses. That has got to be a world record.
