Idaho, Jan 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 29-year old, single mother of two and former bank worker from Idaho has won $190 million, which is half of $380 million Mega Millions jackpot of Idaho Lottery, as said by the lottery officials on Wednesday. Holly Lahti, has $190 million to her name. Even then, this newly wealthy mother-of-two was humble enough to declare that she does not want to have any identity other than her name and the state she is from. At a press conference held today, a lottery representative said that she is expected to be coming forward shortly and accept the huge sum.

The lottery representative did not want to comment on the winner, although he did admit that when a person wins $190 million, it is evident that the person would be very excited. Holly Lahti is one of the two people who have won the $380 million mega prize. Reputed news sources say that till date she was a bank teller, but quit her job, after she won such a huge sum of money. Ady’s Convenience and Car Wash, from where Holly Lahti bought her ticket, have won $50,000 for selling the ticket. Brad, Wilde, the manager of the concern, said that everybody was very happy for the lady. She had asked the lottery officials to keep the name of her hometown private. The lottery officials refer to her as “very sweet” and “down to earth”. The manager told a reputed news source that She is taking some time for the surprise to sink in.

Holly Lahti is not the first Idaho jackpot winner to avoid the eyes of the media and keep away from public attention. In 2005, Brad Duke of Boise, Kept a low profile, even after winning a $220 million Powerball drawing. He had even taken the help of a team of attorneys and accountants asking the Idaho Lottery Commission for anonymity.
