Arizona, Jun 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Most Hispanics are leaving Arizona after the controversial Arizona immigration law came into force. The law, which has been criticized by all quarters, has come into effect on the 1st June.
The final destinations of those leaving the state are California, Texas, and New Mexico etc. These states already have large Hispanic communities and most of the people are leaving Arizona, to join their friends and family in those places.
Most of these states have also criticized the new immigration law in Arizona, and it remains to be seen how they will handle this large influx of the Hispanics in their states.
However not every Mexican is against the new Arizona law. Most Mexicans who have valid documents claim the move is in the right direction, to ensure that the state keep a tab on the instances of drug trafficking and other vices that has majorly been blamed on Mexicans.
The new immigration law allows police officers to demand proof of citizenship or valid immigration documents from anybody, whom they arrest for any kind of offense. The initially law gave the police the power to stop and demand travel documents from any person, whom they suspected was in the country illegally.

What kind of ‘budget’ reporting is this? Your article’s first line says,”Most Hispanics are leaving Arizona” which is simply not true. We may hope that most ILLEGAL ALIENS will leave, but it is simply wrong for your site to seem to assume that most Hispanics are ILLEGAL ALIENS, and conflate the two groups.
