Hello Kitty Creator Sanrio Teams Up With Smart Car

Oct 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest offering of the automotive brand Smart is all set to turn into a huge favorite among girls. The automobile company has teamed up with Hello Kitty creator Sanrio for its upcoming version of cars which would be wrapped by the Hello Kitty design. Although the girlie edition of the car is sure to win the hearts of its young female customers, how far the latest variety of Smart car would be accepted by its male fans remains doubtful.
The news that the Hello Kitty Smart cars would be unveiled in the market shortly has been confirmed by the Japanese company Sanrio, which is the owner of the Hello kitty brand. While talking to journalist about the latest collaboration between Smart USA and the Japanese firm, Janet Hsu, who is the president of Sanrio, Inc. stated that the association of the two companies would give an unique opportunity to the fans to truly embrace the Hello Kitty lifestyle. The Sanrio, Inc. president further went on to confirm that this is the very first time that the company would be offering Hello Kitty cars in the United States.
In the meanwhile, Smart USA’s vice president of marketing, Kim McGill has reiterated that the main aim behind the venture is to expand the highly successful Smart program by adding prominent brands as part of the wrap offering. The Smart USA executive further added that both Smart and Hello Kitty have a huge fan base and the latest initiative would be just the right platform to bring them together.
