Heavy Snowfall Causes Severe Traffic Mess In Seattle

Seattle, Nov 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the nation begun making preparations for the coming festive season, the onset of winter has also laid some unrest concerning the traffic in the city. The city of Seattle is currently going through some bad snowy affair.
Monday saw a bad weather day resulting due to the heavy snow fall. The traffic has been badly affected due to the sudden snowfall. Seattle traffic has become pretty slow and is accident prone. According to a source, the weather department has predicted that more heavy snow falls will be taking place soon. This snowfall on Monday was the first major snowfall of the season. On one hand, when people were quite rejoiced to see the snow and children had a gala time missing schools, for many this posed as a threat. According to reports, Monday’s snowfall had caused a terrible mess in the traffic condition of the city giving rise to some fatal incidents. Two people died as a result of their car sliding on a snow covered road resulting in the collision with another car at Cowiche.
The National Weather Service has issued warning notices saying that hazardous weather condition are on the way and that Seattle will be experiencing strong winds and that Tuesday could be easily prone to six inches of snow. Another source claims that several schools and colleges were kept closed on Monday, while some resumed later in the day, while few of them also dismissing the classes early on Monday morning. The bad snow affected conditions are keeping many drivers at bay. this sudden change in the weather conditions created unrest in the snow plowers, who were seen all day busy cleaning up the roads.
