Head-On Collision Between Orgeon Based Brothers

oregon July 15, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): A head-on collision between two brothers on Highway 35 has killed one woman with her husband being critically injured on Tuesday the 13th of July. The two vehicles collided almost 14 miles south of Hood River which is located to the east of Portland. The incident took place at around 7:20 pm, informed the state police of Oregon.

The 2007 Toyota Corolla of the couple collided with a southbound tow truck. A Lifeflight helicopter took the injured man to the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. His wife was declared dead on spot. Both the men are reported to have been residents of Ft. Hood in the state of Oregon.

The driver of the tow truck was taken for medical evaluation to the Hood River Providence Hospital. The truck was traced and found to be registered to the Texaco Incorporated of Harvey.

According to Lt. Pat Ashmore, 20 year old Westun Lee Harvey was driving a Toyota Corolla, which was struck by a tow truck, driven by his 25-year-old brother John Arthur Harvey.

In the collision, Rosario Harvey, the 28 year old wife of Westun Harvey got killed whereas he survived in a seriously injured condition. His general condition still remains very critical.

Ashmore further stated that it seems both the drivers crossed the center line ahead of the collision. The investigation is being carried out by the state troopers based in The Dalles. Both the victims are sons of John Harvey, the River County’s Reserve Deputy.
