utah Utah, Mar 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The hazardous material crew was called into an IRS building in Utah on Monday. Around 2 weeks earlier, a man had knowingly crashed his private plane into a building, where the IRS workers are present. The hazardous material crew was called because an unknown substance was detected at the building. The agency said in a statement, “At approximately 11:15 AM MST, we detected an unknown substance at the IRS Campus. A local Haz-Mat team was dispatched and standard procedures for responding to such an incident were implemented. At this point we cannot provide additional details because we are continuing to assess the situation.”

At the agency, a law enforcement official said that, they had discovered a suspicious substance inside the mail, which had them worried, so they took help from the hazardous material crew. Witnesses also said that at least 2 people were taken on stretchers to the hospital. Subsequently the FBI was also called to deal with the situation, and the media reporters were asked not to enter the building. According to reports, showers were also being used to deal with ‘a possible chemical situation’. Another official said that they haven’t yet received the final analysis of the suspicious substance, and at the moment nothing was confirmed to be a hazardous substance as yet.
