Kadirli, Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hatice Kocaman has been named as the world’s smallest woman. She stands at just 28 inches tall and weighs just more than a newborn baby. She is 21 years old and belongs to the town of Kadirli, which is located in Turkey. Her lack of height is because of hip dysphasia.

She suffered a lot when she was young, as people used to taunt her because of her height, but all that is a thing of the past now, after she won the title of the world’s smallest woman.

She is overjoyed that finally her height is proving to be an asset to her, rather than being a disgrace. According to the Daily Mail, she said that, “I always hoped that one day the world would recognise me. It was hard when I was a child because all my classmates used to tease me for being small. But now I am famous because of my size. So it makes me feel like I am much taller.”

She also added that now her future plans include traveling and meeting people of different nationalities. She is especially anxious to meet the tallest man in the world. It certainly would be a very big contrast to see the both of them together.
